EAA Chapter 646

Roanoke, VA - THE STAR CITY CHAPTER

Welcome to our chapter

Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our Chapter.

We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with likeminded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so. Please come to our next meeting or event as our guest.

EAA Chapter 646 has about 40 members who build and fly experimental, vintage and certified aircraft.

Members’ aircraft are based at Roanoke Regional Airport (KROA), Smith Mountain Lake (W91) and Blue Ridge (KMTV), to name a few.

We meet the third Tuesday every month at 11:30am unless otherwise notified.  In addition, we have events throughout the year, to include fly-ins, cookouts and a holiday party.  We also support the EAA Young Eagles Program.
